Main duties of the job

We're seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to support the drive & delivery of Integration. To help managing complex change, shaping strategic outcomes, and inspiring a culture of continuous improvement.

The post holder should have experience within senior positions leading integration systems across diverse disciplines such as healthcare, finance, design, and digital, as well as providing strategic advise.

The post holder drives transformational change, fosters stakeholder engagement, and champions a strong project management culture in collaboration with the PMO. With a focus on future-proofing and risk management, they also deputise for the Director, ensuring continuity and leadership at every level

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Essential

  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area

Desirable

  • Professional qualification or equivalent experience of project and programme management techniques and tools such as Prince 2 or Managing Successful Projects

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in organisational leadership and delivering successful transformation programmes
  • Significant management experience at senior level in the NHS or other public healthcare related industry
  • Experience of advising on major programmes
  • Experience of working at a senior level in a complex environment, managing multiple transformation projects with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programmes, people and culture
  • Knowledge of commissioning practices and models
  • Significant experience of managing and prioritising a large budget with solid knowledge of financial process requirements
