Job summary
GP Programme Directors are responsible for providing education in a safe environment for doctors wanting to become GPs. This involves planning, facilitating and evaluating the process of learning. There will be support from the other Programme Directors.
Anopportunity for a GP Training Programme Director has become available at the UCLH Training Programme with a view to starting ASAP most probably from October 2025.

Main duties of the job
The role of GP Training Programme Director is to work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned to the NHS England mandate.
The role will include, amongst other responsibilities, overseeing the GP School programme management and advise the Head of School on the following matters:

Specialty-specific matters and trainee/trainer concerns.

Recruitment to training posts and programmes.
To use our educational resources to support learners within programmes to fulfil their full potential.
