Job summary

The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support Service. They will support the senior leadership hub team in the day-to-day operational management of the hub and associated administrative processes.

Responsible for the management of the administrative support teams in the Collaborative Commissioning Hub.

Main duties of the job

As a Business Manager, the post holder will

o Work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting the Hub Director and Hub leadership Team in the delivery of the Hub commissioning functions

o Provide HR admin to the teams working in the hub

o Ensure the effective delivery of business processes in the hub both internally and externally when dealing with partners

o Ensure that all business processes are compliant with the NHSE policies and best practice

o Ensure that all staff are aware of and receive training in effective business practice and statutory compliance requirements in the hub

o Directly manage the business support and admin staff in the hub

The role will work as part of the NHSE team until 2025 when it will transfer to Somerset ICB who will be the future hub host. The role sits as part of the hub leadership team in the Director of Collaborative Commissioning of NHSE SW until end March 2025.

The role supports the business of the hub in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning of services.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
