The East of England Cardiovascular & Respiratory Diseases Network is dedicated to enhancing patient care and improving healthcare services in the region through the use of data and analytics to drive evidence-based change. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to support our data reporting and analysis efforts. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping us uncover insights, make informed decisions, and drive positive changes in healthcare delivery.

Main duties of the job

You will provide high quality and efficient data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and R, as well as the wider Microsoft Office Suite. Your responsibilities will include working with large healthcare datasets, utilising filters and formulae in Excel such as VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, COUNTIFs etc. to analyse data and prepare it for reporting to key stakeholders within the region. You will also assist in geospatial mapping projects using R and its associated mapping tools. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll understand data needs and deliver valuable insights. Ensuring data accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control in all analysis will be essential. You'll communicate complex data findings effectively to stakeholders of all levels of data literacy and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to commission and evidence healthcare improvement projects. Full support / training as needed will be provided.

We value exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are crucial. A passion for healthcare and a desire to contribute to better patient outcomes are highly regarded.
