Main duties of the job
The emphasis on the role of a Senior Business Analyst is on working on complex projects while leading others and offering guidance. You will bring your existing Business Analysis skills and experience to the role in order to:
- Work with Customers, Managers, Architects, Developers and other fellow Professionals to deliver against challenging objectives.
- Bring the benefits of Business Analysis to the full lifecycle with responsible involvement during business case creation, requirements, design, development, test, implementation and operational review. This may involve being responsible for a Business Analysis workstream within a project, programme or service.
- Typically work on multiple assignments of varying scale and complexity.
- Manage more junior Business Analysts.
- Work within rigorous project/programme/service frameworks requiring a professional and delivery-focussed consultancy outlook.
- Be a thought leader in Business Analysis practice
- Be part of NHS Digital's Business Analysis Profession with opportunities to interact with NHS Digital's family of Business Analysis Professionals distributed across the organisation.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
