Job summary
The Personal Assistant will work as part of an exciting team in delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support service. The post holder will support the Business Operations, Delivery and Performance Team and will work as Personal Assistant to the Director of Workforce, Training and Education.
As Directorate Personal Assistant, the post holder will provide comprehensive diary management and PA support to the Director and supporting team, proactively ensuring all directorate needs are met and that the Director is suitably supported.
Main duties of the job
- Provide proactive business and office management support to the Director's Office, contributing to the completion of Directorate objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate information and documentation to enable effective operation of the directorate.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area such as senior administration.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
Knowledge and Experience

- Significant administrative/secretarial experience working in a large/busy team and with Director level stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience initiating and maintaining office systems

- Understanding of project management principles and /or experience working in a project environment.
- Previous similar role in a healthcare or public sector environment.
- Experience project managing events or visits for senior officials.
