We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team and drive the Elective Care Transformation Programme to new heights.
Main duties of the job
You will provide regional clinical leadership and strategic oversight for the ENT clinical specialty including the following:
- Take a collaborative and co-produced approach to integrated ENT recovery and transformation with ICBs and Providers across primary, community and secondary care
- Provide clinical expertise and input to clinical improvement programmes and delivering a work plan with outputs that is developed in collaboration with the programme lead
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive clinical pathway improvements in elective care services to optimise patient care and reduce waiting times
- Develop relationships with ICB and Provider clinical leads to provide peer support to local clinicians to deliver improvements across clinical specialty areas
- Identify, co-develop and provide clinical commentary on data analytic reports to identify unwarranted variation and opportunities for improvement and drive evidence-based decision-making
- Engage in regular reporting and communication with senior management and other stakeholders
- Weekly meeting with programme manager to discuss programme progress and updating of workplans
- Develop, lead and deliver communities of practice on key priority improvement areas
- Chair key internal and external ENT meetings, and participate in meetings, presentations, and committees to advocate for ENT improvement initiatives
