Applications are invited to join the Workforce, Training and Education Directorate in London to lead the development of the Healthcare Science workforce.
This is an exciting time to join the team as the merger of NHS England, Health Education England and NHS Digital is completed with the ability to shape the future of the Healthcare Scientific workforce.
This role will provide subject matter expertise to the Regional Postgraduate Medical Dean and the Regional Workforce Director in shaping the future models of working through a clear strategic plan in the area.
The post holder will develop their own leadership presence and portfolio of work aligned to the Regional Business plan Long Term Workforce plan commitments.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Regional Head of Healthcare Science within the Medical Directorate ensuring a productive alignment of service modelling and educational and training.
Main duties of the job
The Associate Dean will provide strategic ownership and development of the education and training of all Healthcare Science professions in the NHSE London Workforce, Training and Education Directorate. The post holder will have a professional background from one of the healthcare sciences and have continued and unblemished registration with any relevant professional body. This educational leadership role will involve a wide range of operational and strategic functions for the London NHSE WTE team.
