Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MDRS Careers function, hosted in the North East and Yorkshire region. This post sits within the North East and Yorkshire Careers Team and provides administrative support both to the national MDRS group and local careers and postgraduate medical and dental education initiatives.
You'll be involved in providing the whole range of administrative support, including support meetings, working with finance, researching event venues, travel arrangements and helping organise teaching events.
You'll also provide support to the Senior Careers Manager.
You'll be part of a small and friendly team, who have a wide scope of practice. The team work flexibly but there is a requirement to work hybrid.
Main duties of the job
The post will include the following main duties:
- Organising and supporting the national meetings of the Medical and Dental Recruitment and Selection (MDRS) Careers group.
- Providing administrative support to our hosted 'Faculty of Sustainable Healthcare'
- Providing administrative support to Career team meeting and strategy days.
- Working with Careers colleagues to organise national education and training events, including booking travel and accomodation.
- Finance duties including raising POs and working with Oracle and SBS colleagues.
- Providing support to the Senior Careers Manager.
