Job summary

The National Performers List, England, is a statutory function and is a priority area to increase/safely manage the inclusion of Dentists, GPs and Optometrists to deliver frontline services to patients. This work increases access to NHS primary care services and also supports the wider patient safety performance agenda for individual Practitioners. This is a fast-paced administrative role to support the delivery of our statutory functions.

Main duties of the job

  1. Check and manage the team's post from Plumer House, Plymouth office.
  2. Preparing agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.
  3. Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information, and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary
  4. Managing diaries and travel arrangements for members of the team.
  5. Setting up, co-ordinating and managing the administration of statutory meetings, which includes complex processes and accurate interpretation of case outcomes.
  6. Monitoring generic inboxes and responding to emails.
  7. Responding to telephone enquiries.
  8. Collating data.
  9. Gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary.

The successful candidate will provide, manage and co-ordinate administrative services, examples include:

1. Check and manage the teams post from the Plumer House, Plymouth office base.2. Preparing agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.3. Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information, and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary.4. Managing diaries and travel arrangements for members of the team.5. Provide specialist administrative support and advice to the teams to support a number of initiatives, examples include:

10. Meeting Practitioners at Plumer House and undertaking face to face ID checks.11. Undertake administrative duties and prioritising mail and e-mail (distributing as appropriate).12. Managing own caseload of Practitioners who have been included by Agreement Terms, in line with South West regional variances and to support Practitioners direct through their inclusion process.13. Relationship management with Practitioners and key stakeholders.14. Collaborating with the team to produce Standard Operating Procedure documents.15. Ensure all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.16. Supporting case investigations.17. Working with a number of different IT systems, both bespoke and Microsoft Office programmes.18. Required to input, monitor, and check data produced for on-going programmes and projects.19. Collaborating with all team members in the collection of information for performance reporting on relevant team projects.20. Acting as a point of contact, dealing, and responding efficiently and effectively to complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to team members sensitively, confidentially, and working autonomously.
