About us

On 1 April 2023 Health Education England became part of the new NHS England. Our people are our most important asset; recruiting and retaining the best talent remains crucial to our success. We continue to recruit externally where we cannot fill vacancies internally. We hope you choose to join us but please be aware that some roles may be subject to change in the future. We want to attract and retain highly skilled people to enable us to work with our partners to plan, recruit, educate and train the health workforce. Please note, some supporting documentation attached to this vacancy refers to the legacy organisation, previously known as Health Education England, now NHS England. Work is continuing to harmonise the new NHS England recruitment service and any reference to Health Education England will be updated in due course. More information about the transition to the new NHS England is available here.

As part of a national system, please note that a flat rate of £10,000 per PA, per year, (or pro rata as necessary) will be paid to a Trust for successful candidates appointed to TPD roles. This should be treated as a contribution towards the overall cost and is not a reflection of the individual's pay.
