Job summary
The North West Professional Support and Wellbeing Service (PSW) are recruiting Case Managers.
Case managers will work with Post Graduate Doctors, Dentists & Learners in Training (trainees) who are referred to the PSW for support. They will carry out an initial assessment, identify what further action is required and access relevant support options via the PSW.
The Case manager will support the trainees and regularly review their progress until a mutually agreed end point is reached.
We are keen to appoint a mix of early career, more senior and retired educators who will have a range of experience of working with trainees. We are inviting applications from hospital, primary care, public health, pharmacy, and dental educators.
Case managers should have a good understanding of working with trainees who require extra support either through experience as an educator or lived experience.
The case manager will work as a coach and so previous experience and an ongoing interest in coaching is essential.
Main duties of the job
