Job summary

NHS Resolutions Claims Training Team provides a comprehensive and supportive learning experience for Junior Case Manager apprentices. Through a combination of the Apprenticeship Programme, internal training sessions, shadowing opportunities, group projects, mentorship, and assessments, the team aims to equip apprentices with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in their future assignments as clinical negligence claims managers and build their professional claims management career at NHS Resolution.

We are delighted to announce that our incredibly popular and successful Junior Case Manager development programme is launching its fifth year of recruitment. We are excited to share that we have partnered with CILEX to offer the opportunity to become Junior Case Manager Apprentice and achieve the CILEX Paralegal (Level 3) qualification along with developing the knowledge and expertise in clinical negligence in a highly respected NHS organisation.

Main duties of the job

What You'll Do:

  • You will study with the CILEX Law School to achieve the Level 3 CILEX Paralegal qualification.
  • You will learn day-to-day management of clinical claims cases, from initial client contact to resolution.
  • You will develop your analytical skills by researching and learning about legal precedents, statutes, and regulations that impact our cases.
  • You will build your communication skills by interacting with clients and members, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service.
  • You will gain practical experience by performing essential administrative tasks that keep our claims management operations running smoothly.
  • You will work closely with claims managers, claims colleagues, trainers and NHS Resolution colleagues, learning from their expertise and receiving coaching and mentorship that will enhance your understanding of the legal landscape.
