Location: NHS Resolution Leeds offices with an option of hybrid working or fully remote home working.
The Claims Training and Recruitment Team is responsible for the support of external and internal recruitment and progression through training and development initiatives and programmes across the Claims Management Function of NHS Resolution. No two days are the same - we are a dynamic group of individuals, passionate about our PEER values, building key relationships with external and internal stakeholders and delivering an outstanding support service to our claims colleagues by supporting recruitment and selection processes for various roles in the Function, welcoming new talent to the organisation and nurturing and progressing them through a wide range of development activities.
We are looking for candidates who possess learning and development qualifications or relevant, similar experience, as well as staff supervisory experience. The ideal candidate should have highly developed planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills, gained from working in similar roles. Furthermore, they should have the ability to provide senior administrative and coordination support for multiple, often time-sensitive and overlapping activities and programmes.
This position will be situated in the Claims Training Division within the team and offers 12 months fixed term/secondment contract basis with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
Main duties of the job
This position will mainly involve providing supervisory support to a team of two training and development coordinators. Additionally, it will require providing senior administrative and project support services to the Claims Function. Having knowledge and experience of supervising teams, training and development processes, project and event coordination processes, and best practices would be an advantage.
The post holder in this role will be responsible for supporting both complex and non-complex training and development activities across the Claims Management Function. This includes providing senior support for various work streams and activities, reporting, and supporting various stages of the training and development processes, completing, and supervising day-to-day activities for their team of two training and development coordinators, and working with department members in a highly organized and time-sensitive environment.
Additionally, they will be responsible for drafting and reviewing standard operating procedures associated with the training operations process and implementing them into the team by providing the necessary training as required. They will also provide comprehensive high level administrative support to the divisional Training and Recruitment Managers, while working closely with colleagues within the Claims Function, the HR and OD Teams and external training providers.
