Job summary

We have an opportunity for an HR&OD Resourcing Coordinator to join our friendly and collaborative Resourcing Team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to March 31st, 2027. You will be supporting the delivery of a professional and customer focused recruitment service to our Claims Department and be available to work from our Leeds City Centre Offices as and when required.

Main duties of the job

Supporting the delivery of a professional and customer focused recruitment service, ensuring compliance with NHS Employers standards, NHS Employment Check Standards, and Agenda for Change terms and conditions. Posting approved vacancies on Job train, job boards and LinkedIn within agreed timelines. Support the scheduling of interviews and assessments as advertised. Providing timely updates to recruiting managers at each stage of the process. Producing accurate correspondence in line with departmental KPIs. Maintaining and securely managing paper and electronic records in accordance with retention and disposal standards. Updating trackers and supporting audit requirements. Contributing to KPI and SLA reporting.

Job responsibilities

We have an opportunity for an HR&OD Resourcing Coordinator to join our friendly and collaborative Resourcing Team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to March 31st, 2027. You will be supporting the delivery of a professional and customer focused recruitment service to our Claims Department and be available to work from our Leeds City Centre Offices as and when required.

Ideally, you will be working in a recruitment high volume and fast paced corporate environment with coordination and administration experience from campaign start to onboarding of candidates. You will be able to work to high standards as compliance with NHS Employers standards, NHS Employment Check Standards, and Agenda for Change terms and conditions is required and be able to get up to speed reasonably quickly with HR processes and policies. Sectors potentially that you will have worked in are: Legal or Insurance or regulated environments. Candidates with an NHS background will be considered but other sector experience is preferred too.

In addition to the attached Job & Person specification we are looking for candidates with the following background, skills, and experience:

  • Experience of working in a high volume and fast paced corporate environment
  • Will have worked in a similar coordination/administrative role with experience of recruitment to onboarding of candidates
  • Sectors worked in are: Legal, Insurance and/or regulated environments. An NHS background will be considered but other sectors are preferred too.
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System, HR and Payroll Systems. (NHS Resolution uses Job Train and ESR)
  • Drafted offer letters, contracts, carried out Right to work, ID, DBS and reference checks when onboarding candidates
  • Good Excel skills up to intermediate level
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as a considerable amount of data from campaigns is inputted to spreadsheets
  • Able to work to high standards and get up to speed reasonably quickly with HR processes and policies including NHS Agenda for change.
