Job summary

NHS Resolution is on a multi-year technology transformation journey as we move from our legacy technology, software, and infrastructure to a modern, cloud-based, and continuously improving platform. A key part of our journey so far has been the introduction of Pega as our strategic case management platform, CaseHub.

The Pega Team Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing Pega-based business solutions. They will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure that applications meet both technical and business requirements.

Main duties of the job

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Pega Infinity.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the project scope and journey, as well as how each element integrates into the broader solution.
  • Oversee the production of estimates, including scope definition and sizing, pulling these together into an overall project plan.
  • Collaborate with the Lead System Architect (LSA) on architecture and design efforts to ensure scalability, performance, and adherence to Pega best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and technical training to junior Pega developers and architects on the team.

  • Post Graduate level degree or hold relevant professional qualifications or equivalent significant experience in Pega development Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CPSSA) or above.
  • Familiarity with front-end and back-end technologies used alongside Pega (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, SQL).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability
  • Effective delegation skills when required.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in Pega applications.
