  • Lead the HR & OD function, driving the People Plan and shaping the organisations future workforce.
  • Provide professional leadership and strategic advice to the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to executive colleagues on organisational design for optimal operation performance.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a leadership and cultural transformation programme.
  • Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging across both workforce and operational service portfolios.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of a Workforce Development Plan.
  • Provide trusted expert professional advice on complex employee relations issues.

We provide expertise to the NHS on resolving concerns and disputes fairly, sharing learning for improvement, and preserving resources for patient care. Our main functions include Claims Management, Practitioner Performance Advice, Primary Care Appeals, and Safety and Learning.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the HR & OD function, driving the People Plan and shaping the organisation’s future workforce.
  • Provide professional leadership and strategic advice to the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to executive colleagues on organisational design for optimal operation performance.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a leadership and cultural transformation programme.
  • Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging across both workforce and operational service portfolios.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a master’s or relevant professional qualification in Systems Thinking, Strategic HR Management, Organisational Design, Development, Change, or Organisational Behavioural Psychology.
  • Highly developed strategic influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in leading, managing, and motivating staff.
  • Strong contemporary understanding of digital technologies and their potential for transforming the HR & OD landscape.
  • Proven track record of continuous personal and professional development.
