NHS Resolution

Assessment and Remediation Manager

The closing date is 22 February 2026

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-organised and motivated person to play a key operational role in our Assessment and Remediation (A&R) service which helps NHS organisations manage concerns about clinicians. The A&R Manager (ARM) is responsible for the effective organisation of A&R services to a high standard and against set timescales.

The ARM manages their own caseload, deals directly with practitioners and senior representatives from healthcare organisations, and undertakes a range of administrative tasks. This is a frontline role within Practitioner Performance Advice in a supportive, collaborative team.

Main duties of the job

  • Administration of the behavioural assessment service. The ARM liaises with practitioners and suppliers to set up the assessments, issues reports and ensures the smooth running of the assessments.
  • Source assessors to undertake clinical performance assessment cases. This involves the ARM identifying suitable external clinicians and making arrangements for their participation.
  • Support the delivery of the team review service, liaising with the parties to arrange the reviews and providing practical assistance to the reviewers during the process.
  • Manage your own caseload, track cases and deliver tasks within set deadlines.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks associated with the delivery of the services and providing support to the A&R team.
