Job summary

NHS Resolution's Primary Care Appeals service is responsible for ensuring the prompt and fair resolution of appeals and disputes between primary care contractors and NHS England/integrated care boards.

Primary care contractors include GPs, dentists, opticians and pharmacists. We are looking to appoint a Case manager to our small but high performing team.

The position is a 13-month fixed-term role to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job

You will support in the delivery of fair and timely resolution by way of:

  • The effective delivery of all aspects of allocated casework, managing cases in accordance with statutory procedures and meeting key performance indicators; and
  • Preparing briefing material with appropriate case findings, rationale and determination to be issued to the decision-maker or the decision-making Committee for consideration.
