Main duties of the job

Expert Support & Maintenance: You'll provide expertise, ongoing support, and end-to-end maintenance for legacy case management systems in collaboration with the software provider. Collaborative

Knowledge Building: You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including suppliers, business users, and NHS Resolution technical teams, to build in-house knowledge and experience in the legacy systems, facilitating support duties and assisting in system decommissioning.

Hybrid Support System Development: You'll lead the development of a hybrid support system, ensuring appropriate documentation and monitoring systems are in place to support the organisations strategic outcomes.

IM&T Infrastructure Management: You'll manage, support, and administer the organisations IM&T infrastructure within your area of specialism, ensuring technology services are delivered in line with Service Level Agreements.

  • Excellent software development skills

  • Experience and excellent skills including software development good practices (version control, tests, etc.)

  • Experience of communicating and influencing at a senior level including the ability to articulate technical content to non-technical colleagues and senior managers

  • Experience of legacy case management platforms e.g. SQL management & replication, SQL scripts, IIS Web Services, SharePoint (on-premise & Cloud), API Integrations, Windows Server OS

  • You'll be an expert with comprehensive knowledge in the technical areas given in the person specification

  • Significant specialist experience of advanced systems development life cycle, design, and testing using a variety of design patterns
