We are therefore recruiting to a Information Management and Records Officer role to join the Knowledge and Information Management Team in the Corporate Governance deputy directorate on a 18 Month fixed term contract.

This opportunity can be done either on a hybrid basis from Leeds or London, or as a homeworker.

Main duties of the job

This exciting role will be responsible for conducting records management business partnering, providing advice on both digital and paper records management and through supporting teams in the management of their document repositories. Support business areas in the maintenance and management of their SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams channels. Also, assisting the Information Manager by providing information management expertise across the organisation.

The Knowledge and Information Management team consists of a team of nine, covering Knowledge, Information and Records Management, ensuring the organisation stay compliant with the various Acts.

Knowledge management ensures that the knowledge held by individuals and teams across NHSR is valued as an organisational asset. Providing advice, tools and techniques to capture, monitor and share this knowledge.

Information management develops, implements and continually reviews how it uses information, whilst refining the organisations information processes and policies and compliance with statutory obligations. Facilitating the access of information to maximise its exploitation and re-use for all staff.

Records management ensure that the organisation manages its records in compliance with the Public Records Act and other legislation. Managing the records from their creation through their lifecycle to their disposal, guaranteeing they are safe and well maintained throughout this process.
