Job summary

The Procurement department at Airedale General Hospital is part of AGH Solutions ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

The Stock Control team within the procurement department are the face of procurement within the hospital, liaising with and assisting ward managers and staff on a daily basis.Delivering excellent customer service and always striving to find new ways to improve and enhance the service provided.

Physically Able: The role involves manual handling, cages, and walking between departments.

Technically Minded: Experience with IT systems, hand-held scanners, or stock management systems is desirable (but not essential).

37.5 hours per week

Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 5:00pm, Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm (With 1/2 hour lunch)

Main duties of the job

To work within the Stock Control team providing a high-quality professional stock management service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District NHS Foundation Care Trust. To support the day to day running of the service within the Stock Control team.

Data Accuracy: Processing requests on our inventory systems to maintain accurate inventory records.

Problem solving: Dealing with logistical issues and finding the best solution; liaising with Supply Chain or the suppliers themselves to ensure a solution is found for all parties involved
