Job summary

The Procurement department at Airedale General Hospital is part of AGH Solutions LTD, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

The Procurement team pride themselves on providing excellent customer service to their customers and we aspire to be the best we can be, assisting clinical areas in providing the best clinical care to patients and users within the hospital and community.

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, confident and has experience of working in goods in/warehouse environment.

You will need to be a good communicator and have some admin and clerical experience. It is desirable that you have previous experience of working with software systems such as Microsoft Office.

Your main responsibilities will be working in the Receipt and Distribution Team. Delivering and putting away clinical consumables throughout the Trust.

Main duties of the job

To assist the Receipt & Distribution Team Leader in providing a quality, professional Procurement Receipt and Distribution, Materials Management put-away service to customers.

To assist the Receipt & Distribution Team Leader with the day-to-day running of the Receipt & Distribution service including complying with Health and Safety recommendations.

To assist the Receipt & Distribution Team Leader to develop, implement and improve working methodologies and procedures in order to deliver the service efficiently and cost effectively.
