We are looking for hardworking and dependable Kitchen Porters to join our catering team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential role in keeping our kitchens clean, safe, and well organised. Your work will ensure that patients and staff receive a high standard of food service every day.
Key Responsibilities

Clean kitchens, associated areas, refrigerators, and food stores to required standards.

Carry out deep cleaning of floors, wall surfaces, and catering equipment (e.g., fryers, ovens, bain-maries).
-
Wash pots, pans, utensils, and crockery used by staff and patients.
-
Ensure food waste is disposed of correctly and stored in the designated outside location.
-
Assist with delivery of meals, collection of crockery, and movement of goods as required.
-
Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation.
-
Follow Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.
-
Support colleagues and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Undertake additional duties as requested by the Catering Manager or Supervisors.
