To support Hotel & Site Services Manager in providing the assurance by undertaking regular audits of the water flushing across HDH, Lascelles and Ripon site.

Toensure the highest achievable level of domestic compliance with Trust's guidelines onthe control of Legionella, Pseudomonas and other opportunistic pathogens. Using a MSoffice database and analyse results.

Main duties of the job

Within the framework of the Trust's Water Safety Plan (WSP), the role of the Domestic Department is to ensure an adequate turnover of water from all domestic outlets on the premises and prepare adequate data evidence. This is accomplished through a robust flushing regime, the oversight of which is the main duty of the Water Flushing Compliance officer.

Regular contact with Estates & Facilities managers, wards and departments managers, Water Safety group and Infection control colleagues regarding compliance with the water flushing regime undertaken in accordance with the national regulations Liaise closely with the Domestic Services management and other key contacts to ensure action plans are drawn up and implemented following environmental audits.
