We're expanding our Transformation & Consultancy Leadership Team with three exciting Senior Leadership Opportunities
RFL Property Services (RFLPS) is entering an exciting phase of growth. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust, we provide high-quality estates, capital, PMO and transformation consultancy services to NHS organisations and partners.
To support our expanding portfolio and mission to be the trusted partner for transforming healthcare environment, we are now recruiting a senior leader to form a new, integrated leadership across Programme Management, Transformation and Service Delivery.
The postholder will work closely with the wider transformation senior leadership team with a distinct focus on PMO services to ensure our services are high quality, sustainable, commercially sound and consistently excellent for our customers.
The postholder must be willing to travel to our customer sites outside their standard place of work.
Main duties of the job
This role provides senior leadership for programme and portfolio delivery across major hospital, capital and system-wide programmes.
You will:
- Lead complex, high-risk programmes and portfolios
- Establish and mature Programme Management Offices (PMOs)
- Set standards for programme governance, assurance and benefits realisation
- Act as a trusted advisor to SROs and Executive leaders
- Line manages programme and project management professionals
This role ensures that programmes are delivered well, governed properly and focused on outcomes and value.

- oProgramme or project management qualification (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, APM, PMI) or equivalent experience
- oChartered member of a relevant professional organisations, ideally APM or equivalent

- oProfessional qualification in Better Business Case
- oP3O certification or any other relevant PMO related training
- oPostgraduate qualification or MBA
Experience

- oSignificant experience leading large-scale, complex programmes
- oExperience working with Executive and Board-level stakeholders
- oLine management experience of professional staff
- oExperience of working on programmes of £50m+
