As a wholly owned subsidiary of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust; Simply Serve Limited has an exciting position available for a Theatre Stores Lead to support the Procurement and Materials Management team.
We are looking for a dynamic team player, flexible, resilient individual with excellent organisational skills and a passion for change. The individual is required to work with staff across the Trust and subsidiary companies to manage medical and non-medical consumables across theatres.
The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 5pm and Friday - 8:30am to 16:30pm.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Theatres Stores Lead is to ensure that logistical support is efficient, effective, flexible and is adapted to suit the needs and requirements of the service, specifically theatres.
In addition to the above, the successful post holder will be required to order, manage and monitor all stock used within the theatres setting. Including the reporting of supply errors, managing supply concerns and supporting theatres requirements for urgent orders.
