Job summary
We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Waste Management Team which is part of the Estates and Facilities department as a Waste Coordinator.
Main duties of the job
The role is to work within the hospital's Waste Management team, which will involve working primarily across the trust, but also remotely, to help ensure compliance with legislation is met through auditing and completing actions raised from audits. There will also be an element of assisting with the removal and storage or disposal of bulky items, as well as carrying out other ad-hoc collections of other waste streams such as batteries, glass, and COSHH when required. The role will require using equipment provided to reduce manual handling. The successful candidate will hold a full driver's licence and have use of a vehicle for work purposes.
