Job summary
The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to all Inventory Management activities. Working under the supervision of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Supplies Supervisor, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure a smooth logistical flow of goods throughout Theatres and additional areas.
A flexible approach is also essential as there will be a requirement to work at both our North Tees and Hartlepool hospital sites.
The role requires the candidate to have knowledge and experience of stock control, supplies/stores functions and providing excellent levels of customer service. The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation is an essential requirement.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to, but not limited to;
Purchase orders
Receipt & Distribution
Implantable device management
General stock management
Stock rotation and managing reduction in waste
