The Facilities Team Leader will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Facilities Assistants working across a range of facilities services including Domestics, Portering and Linen Services.

The job will require day to day supervision of staff, to be a key contact and provide strong and visible leadership across the different services.

The team leader will arrange, organise and deliver staff duty rotas, report and investigate incidents, accidents and complaints, and ensure staff training is kept up to date and fully compliant.

Ensure that sickness absence is managed appropriately and in line with HR and LLP sickness absence policies and procedures. Supervise safe working practices such as safe manual handling, all Health & Safety rules, regulations and legislation, including COSHH. Ensure that where applicable staff groups work to National Standards of Cleanliness and/or Trust cleaning policies.

The post holder will work closely with other LLP managers, Trust managers and the Stakeholders of the Service.

The Post holder will encounter a wide range of staff in the course of their duties and of particular significance will be a need to maintain effective working relationships with HR, Staff Side Organisations and Trade Unions.

The most important aspect of the role is to provide a high quality, efficient and customer orientated Facilities service within North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions (LLP).
