Job summary
The Maintenance craftsperson will be part of the multi-skilled team within the Estates Department. The post holder will assist in providing day-to-day joinery repairs and maintenance associated with the upkeep of the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust Estate and its external client's premises. To carry out maintenance, inspection, non-routine minor works or alteration, routine and non-routine repairs, fault finding and problem solving, and also carry out new work as required, based around the skillset of a time served joiner.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit a self motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Joinery and building knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding / repairs on a wide range of building services equipment . The day to day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is a wholly owned company, entirely owned by the Trust.

- oAdequate knowledge of and within the proceeding three years training for, first aid treatment for electric shock.

- Completion of a structured training program in engineering for a minimum period of 4 years.
- 2 years site experience.

- Experience in working in an Acute Hospital environment.
