Job summary
Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) is seeking a proactive and organised Training Administrator to support the development and compliance of our workforce. This role involves co-ordinating training programs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring staff meet statutory and mandatory training requirements.
Working closely with the HR, OD, and Communications team, the Training Administrator will play a pivotal role in fostering a well-trained and effective organisation.

Main duties of the job
Co-ordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for GMS staff, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
Monitor compliance with statutory and mandatory training requirements and maintain accurate training records.
Conduct post-training evaluations and analyse feedback to improve future initiatives.
Collaborate on creating and enhancing training materials and programs.
Organise onboarding orientation sessions and initial training schedules.
Act as the first point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide guidance on training opportunities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes and initiatives.

Work closely with internal teams and external providers to deliver high-quality training solutions
Ensure all training programs comply with organisational and regulatory standards
Facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring new hires receive the necessary training and resources.
Working Environment:This role combines office-based and hybrid working arrangements, with frequent travel between sites in Cheltenham and Gloucester. (a free Shuttle bus is available). The post holder will work in a professional environment, engaging with diverse stakeholders and occasionally setting up training venues.

Essential
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration, HR, or a related field
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in HR, training, or administration fields
Experience

- Experience in an administrative role, preferably related to training, HR or workforce development.
Desirable
- Experience in coordinating or delivering training sessions
- Prior exposure to a healthcare or facilities management environment
