Job summary
This is a 8 PA NHS Consultant Post in Community Sexual and Reproductive Health. The post holder will be employed by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). The post will be based within the Stafford and Branston sexual health services.
We are seeking to recruit a Consultant who demonstrates experience of leadership in SRH as well as a wide experience in all aspects of CASH and GUM. Strong team-working skills and a keen interest in training, education and service development are essential.
Main duties of the job
The Consultant will act as the Contraception Lead for the services and provide high quality evidence-based holistic care for patients with sexual health needs incorporating both contraception and GU medicine.
The post-holder will be required to play a leadership role within the sexual health teams. There will be a significant commitment to teaching, including CoSRH training, and supervision of junior medical and nursing staff.
Active contribution to audit and clinical governance will also be expected.
