Job summary

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives by leading high quality housing support for individuals affected by drug and alcohol use? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to manage our county wide Drug and Alcohol Housing Team within Inclusion Hampshire.

This role offers the chance to shape and deliver an essential new service that improves housing stability, supports recovery, reduces homelessness and strengthens engagement with drug and alcohol treatment and recovery. You will lead a dedicated team of Housing Workers providing tenancy sustainment, homelessness prevention and housing related support to people who use drugs and alcohol across Hampshire.

Working as part of the wider leadership team, you will oversee service delivery across community locations, Inclusion hubs, partner agencies and outreach settings. You will guide staff supporting individuals with complex needs, ensuring housing support is trauma informed, recovery focused and integrated with wider drug and alcohol treatment pathways.

You will be responsible for the day to day operational management, performance oversight and quality assurance of the Housing Support offer, ensuring safe, person centred practice that meets commissioning requirements and drives improved outcomes.

Main duties of the job

Full-time Team Leader (37.5 hours per week) overseeing a team of Drug & Alcohol Housing Workers delivering housing support across Hampshire.

This role requires you to:o Work alongside the Inclusion Hampshire Management Team to ensure performance targets, housing-related outcomes and commissioner expectations are achieved.o Provide operational leadership to Housing Workers delivering tenancy sustainment, homelessness prevention and housing-focused interventions across community, outreach and multi-agency settings. Support staff to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented housing support that promotes engagement with drug and alcohol treatment.

o Work collaboratively with Service Leads, Service Managers and other Team Leaders to maintain consistent, high-quality service delivery and staff wellbeing.o Guide staff to build effective relationships with housing partners, secure accommodation solutions and respond to individuals at risk of homelessness.o Promote inclusive, non-judgemental practice and strong partnership working with housing authorities, supported accommodation, landlords and other key agencies.
