Job summary
Overseeing and providing the Recovery College Service as part of Inclusion mental health services within Thurrock.
This includes operational management the Recovery College Coordinator, Recovery College Administrator, Inclusion health trainers and supporting peer trainers to provide Recovery Education to the communities in Thurrock through building and maintaining local relationships.

Main duties of the job
To positively support, influence and improve the quality of the Recovery College. To co-produce, co-deliver and co-evaluate course materials for the Recovery College with peer specialist trainers. To ensure the Recovery College has strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community.

- Recognised learner support qualification (Learning & Assessing) or completion of a recognised AHP Educator Programme
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Willingness to complete a teaching qualification
- Band 5 post-registration clinical experience or equivalent
Desirable
- Registered Health Practitioner with the NMC or HCPC or equivalent qualifications and experience
- Completion of the Recovery Education Centre train the trainer or equivalent
Experience

- Demonstrable experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems and/or carers and supporters delivering psycho-educational or educational materials
- Demonstrable experience of delivering training to professionals and teams
