Our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Team at HMP Oakwood are looking for a dynamic and experienced RNLD. The team is innovative and forward thinking and committed to a Recovery focused approach that meets people's needs.

This is an exciting and energetic role for someone who is passionate about providing excellent quality mental health and learning disability care within a busy and rewarding environment. The role will be based at HMP Oakwood but will also offer consultation and advice to colleagues within prisons across the service.

Main duties of the job

Working effectively within the team you will be responsible for managing a caseload. This will include assessments, care planning and the provision of specialist learning disability and mental health interventions to people in prison.

Working as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team, you will provide support to the mental health team based within the prison and liaise with, and provide advice and support to, wider stakeholders and agencies.

You will lead on the development and implementation of a new learning disability pathway.
