Inclusion Thurrock NHS Talking Therapies Employment Support Service
Full Time Band 4 (Top Step Point) plus 5% Fringe HCAS benefit
This is an exciting time to be joining us. We are expanding our existing employment support team in Thurrock so we can support anyone struggling with their mental health wellbeing in Thurrock. A new Employment Advisor is being recruited to support individuals accessing our Inclusion Thurrock NHS Talking Therapies Service. They will be part of team who will work alongside and be supported by our high performing IPS Employment Service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual who is creative and sensitive to support our clients back into the workplace or support those who are already in employment to both maintain their roles and thrive.

The Trust works in partnership with the NHS programme 'Step into Health', supporting ex-service personnel into a career in the NHS.
This role is part of an innovative new NHS Talking Therapies Employment Support Service, aligned and working closely with the other Inclusion Thurrock Services and Recovery College, to support people with mental health problems with employment needs. Evidence based supported employment, Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is the model being used. The post holder will be instrumental in supporting individuals using this evidence based model. You will be supported in this process by the Employment Support Service Senior Employment Advisor and the NHS Talking Therapies Clinical Lead.
The role will involve working directly with NHS Talking Therapies Therapists, Jobcentre Plus, employers, trade unions, world of work and employment agencies, to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities. You will work closely with practitioners in Thurrock Community Mental Health teams, Recovery College and other services serving Thurrock. We are keen to make a real difference to the vocational outcomes of people accessing our services.
