Job summary
Working in Buckinghamshire countywide drug and alcohol integrated service (One Recovery Bucks) you will have responsibility for ensuring the seamless continuity of care for those leaving prison.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring the engagement of offenders with substance misuse issues into treatment on release from custody.
- Completing relevant assessments and referring to One Recovery Bucks to ensure continuity of care.
- Arranging bridging prescriptions and that medication is continued in the community on release from custody.
- Working in partnership with key agencies to ensure service users are supported on their individual recovery journeys and those entering treatment remain in treatment when released.
- Delivering all elements of One Recovery Bucks including managing a case load.
