We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and caring individual to join our team within Inclusion Thurrock, a drug and alcohol treatment and support service for individuals impacted by their own or someone else's use of alcohol or drugs.

In this role, youwork within the community in an essential liaison role to draw in local community assets to support the delivery of Recovery focussed outcomes, promoting and creating opportunities in education, employment, training, housing, social support, peer/mutual aid, health and wellbeing for the benefit of our service users. To provide a range of interventions within the community from a range of venues and settings including Tiers 1, 2 and 3 Interventions.

You will work as part of our dedicated team to grow and develop your talents. Your personal development priorities will be encouraged and supported through our appraisal process.

Main duties of the job

The vacancy is open to qualified professionals, experienced recovery workers, social workers, people with experience in criminal justice, or members of the public with some understanding of substance misuse. You will be an integral part of a team, making a real difference to people's lives and the wider communities in which we serve.

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).   • To lead and manage the Community Development Team by communicating the mental health needs of BME communities in a way that leads to a process of change and improvement in services, ensuring appropriate and timely interventions and prevention services that promote mental health and well-being;
