Main duties of the job
- To deliver a strengths-based, recovery orientated and outcome-focussed link service for all service users who are hard to engage into One Recovery Bucks with a particular emphasis on high standards and good practice (in accordance with the Blue Light Manual).
- To provide this cohort with practical support, information and guidance on relevant issues i.e. physical and mental health signposting, housing, debt / benefits and education, training and employment (ETE), providing and maintaining accurate records of advice and support given.
- Ensure appropriate and effective risk management plans are in place for each service user, taking into consideration planning around safeguarding including risks of abuse and exploitation.
- To carry out assessments, make recommendations in line with the service user's needs and refer onto appropriate clinical & non clinical services; following agreed pathways and processes. This will include facilitating the engagement of service users in the community for the provision of prescribing of substitute medications or assessment for alcohol detox assessments.
