Job summary
To accept, monitor temperatures and store all goods required for a busy "cook chill" central production unit; as specified by the Catering Department's HACCP system.
Main duties of the job
- To ensure that all deliveries are inspected, temperature recorded in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations; reporting any discrepancies to the Duty Supervisor or Manager.2. To ensure correct storage and stock rotation of all goods, notifying Duty Supervisor or Managers of any damage, excess stock or shortfall of all goods.3. To undertake duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Trusts/Departments Health and Safety policy.4. To carry out general and deep cleaning duties according to cleaning schedules ensuring all C.O.S.H.H. regulations are adhered to.5. To ensure correct and economical use of materials and equipment.6. To maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic appearance, ensuring that the appropriate protective clothing, including I.D. badge, is worn at all times.

We provide a range of non- clinical services to GHNT and other NHS organisations. In addition we provide consultancy services, advising clients on all aspects of establishing a subsidiary company within an NHS body to the provision of VAT compliance advice.
