Job summary

Innovate Healthcare Services are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage our Logistics Asset Team, driving excellence in asset management across the company.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operational leadership and asset lifecycle management, with the ability to motivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced and evolving environment. They will be responsible for streamlining asset recording processes, implementing robust access controls, and ensuring accurate inventory of IT assets. Working closely with ICT and key stakeholders, they will align asset strategies with organisational goals, mitigate risks, and embed service excellence throughout.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Head of ICT Service Operations, they will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver a prompt, efficient and positive logistical experience for each and every one of our customers, each and every time.

They will oversee the technical provisions of Logistics to ensure that Innovate consistently deliver the exceptional levels of service we promise. The key elements of the role encompass: -

Operational Leadership

Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of Asset administrators

Manage the Logistics asset team to ensure a streamlined and dedicated audits of all assets are being conducted and recorded on our master asset database

Manage the overall motivation and performance of the Asset team within an environment of change seeking to maximise their contribution in relation to forecasted work and overall resource commitments.

Manage, mitigate, and report on risks they may come of managing assets and the team

Strategic Planning and Execution

Manage and streamline our processes to improve the overall recording of all assets.

Implementing strong access controls to ensure that only authorised personnel have access to IT assets

Work with the Head of ICT Service Operations and with the ICT configuration and logistics manager in the delivery and recording of the assets across all our stakeholders

Asset Management

Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and contracts. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal. Develop and implement procedures for tracking and managing assets throughout their lifecycle.

Ensure service improvement and service excellence are fully embedded in our overall culture.

Work alongside our customers and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand strategic and operational business requirements.

Strive to achieve high customer satisfaction through our service offerings to demonstrate that Innovate's customer service provision is of high quality.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of IT assets. Develop and enforce standards and procedures for asset management.

Work closely with other departments, including IT, finance, and procurement, to align asset management activities with organizational goals.
