For this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple agendas in a busy department whilst being able to use your own initiative and skills to problem solve.

This role will provide programme leadership for the development of the HEIW Integrated Medium Term Plan. As a Business Partner you will work collaboratively with Directorates in developing their strategic planning and improving their performance as part of the planning and performance team approach.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will undertake a strategic role in leading the development and delivery of HEIW's Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP) on behalf of NHS Wales.

Responsible for Business Continuity Planning ensuring HEIW has a fit-for-purpose Business Continuity Plan and supporting any crisis management arrangements.

Undertake line management of the Assistant Planner for the IMTP and Sustainability Programme Manager.
