RSU Administrator – Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the RSU team as an Administrator - Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The CPD Administrator will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of a wide variety of CPD resources and activities, providing support and guidance to colleagues and primary care workforce stakeholders, including GPs. They will also support the planning and delivery of our 3D Leadership and Development Programme.
The Revalidation Support Unit is a professional unit within Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) that aims to support and improve professional standards across Wales. The Unit has responsibility for:
- Management of the GP Appraisal Process for all GPs in Wales on behalf of the Health Boards.
- Leading on Medical Appraisal Quality Management systems and providing support for Medical Revalidation.
- Delivery of face-to-face CPD events, training, and online learning/resources.
- Development and management of online systems to support appraisal and revalidation.
- Medical Appraisal Revalidation System (MARS) - a sophisticated online appraisal platform used by over 7000 doctors, appraisers, Health Board managers, and Medical Directors to facilitate the annual medical appraisal process, and to support doctors and employers in meeting the requirements of revalidation.
- Orbit360 - a system to facilitate multi-source feedback for doctors as part of their revalidation requirements.
Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the GP CPD programme and the 3D Programme (Discovering, Developing and Delivering in Healthcare).
Provide support for the development of resources and activities on HEIW's Learning Management System - Y Ty Dysgu.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
