As Senior Business Operations Manager, you'll lead operational planning and delivery across the Directorate, coordinating key business functions and ensuring the smooth execution of strategic objectives. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive internal culture, supporting governance, and enhancing communication and partnership working. Your leadership will contribute to building a cohesive team and managing risks effectively, all while helping to shape the strategic direction of the organisation.

Main duties of the job

Support the long-term strategic and operational planning functions of the Directorate, identifying interdependencies across projects/programmes, potential impacts on the wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

Take a proactive approach to the scheduling, design, writing and submission of papers for Board, Executive and other Committees, and professional group papers to achieve required outcomes.

Play an integral part and take a proactive approach to monitoring and maintaining the internal governance framework for the Directorate.

Provide leadership and co-ordinate the development of effective communications with senior managers across the Directorate, other directorates and external stakeholders.

Support the senior leadership team in embedding a consistent approach to collaboration with regulators.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
