Job summary
Would you like to join a team supporting the transformation of the Nursing and Midwifery workforce across NHS Wales? We are looking for an Administrative Officer who can work independently, providing administrative and secretarial support to the team and associated workstreams.
The role will require the postholder to work and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, in addition to arranging meetings, minute taking, drafting agendas, calendar management, developing and maintaining electronic filing and information systems, and supporting procurement activities.
The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ level 3 secretarial, or administration qualification or equivalent experience in an administrative role, have experience in developing new office systems and processes, minute taking, and competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages, with strong communication and prioritisation skills.
This is a part time position working 30 hours over 5 days.

Main duties of the job
o Deal with first line enquiries to the department.
To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Strategic Nursing and Midwifery Transformation Team and associated work streams.
To develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Undertake secretariat duties for internal and external meetings.
Work independently and manage own workload.
