Job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Team as a fixed term / secondment contract until end March 2025 to lead on the development of the new Endoscopy Training Academy for Wales. You will work alongside the Clinical Lead and Deputy Lead within the Endoscopy Training Management Group (ETMG). The person appointed will work within HEIW to drive and deliver the implementation of the Endoscopy Academy.
Main duties of the job
This role is central to managing and driving the establishment of innovative, effective and efficient approaches to sustainable endoscopy training provision, determining the associated quality assurance and faculty network expansion that will set a template for multiple future innovations for healthcare services across Wales.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in the field of endoscopy and with knowledge and involvement of work-based learning and education. A significant aspect of this role will be focussed on the post-holder working in partnership with a range of stakeholders to establish the governance, quality assurance and business aspects of the new 'Endoscopy Training Academy'.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
