Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Primary Care, Post payment Verification Team for an All Wales Team Leader. The successful candidate will be numerate, analytical, organised and motivated. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will be liaising with a spectrum of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a presence across our two operational sites: Companies House, Cardiff and Cwmbran House, Mamhilad Park, Pontypool, as well as home working.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking post payment verification remote visits to GP surgeries, Ophthalmicand Pharmacy contractors. Interrogate and analyse primary care contractor clinical systems/records to ensure the accuracy of their claim submissions.
Responsible for providing written reports on the outcome of a post payment verification visit identifying areas of financial or clinical governance concerns within the agreed timeframe.
Day to day supervision of at least one staff member assisting in the post payment verification process. The post holder will be required to allocate and verify work undertaken / timesheets of PPV Officers.
