Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function as a Business Administration Officer for the Health Courier Services (HCS). The postholder will be primarily responsible for providing high quality business administrative support to HCS. The base for the position will be Denbigh NHS Regional Stores.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, ideally in a Supply Chain/Transport function. The postholder will be the first point of contact for HCS administrative tasks and dealing with routine queries including raising requisitions on Oracle. The postholder will be responsible for obtaining quotations for required goods and services and work with the Procurement team to ensure goods/services are delivered as required.
As teams are based across Wales, good communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships is essential. The postholder will be able to respond efficiently and effectively to requests made by service users to assist in the smooth operation of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
