Main duties of the job

This role acts as a key link between NWSSP Procurement Services and its customers, promoting best practices in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The post holder supports the Senior Procurement Business Manager in delivering a professional procurement service aligned with the NWSSP Business Plan. They ensure the service is responsive, cost-effective, and adaptable to user needs, while driving national and local targets, efficiencies, and value-added initiatives. A core focus is on influencing procurement decisions, negotiating non-contract requisitions, and collaborating with partners to improve processes, standardise products, reduce costs, and enhance quality and service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • 5 GCSE's grade C and above, including Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Procure to Pay cycle acquired through NVQ/BTEC level 2/3 or equivalent qualification/expierience.
  • Qualified to CIPS (Level 4) or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • 2 A-levels or equivalent.
